AMAL CAREER-PREP FELLOWSHIP

This splendid journey is going to be ended with a lot of erudition, memorable moments, happiness, and friendship with a great mindset people but friendship can never be ended.

I remembered the first session day when I felt hesitation, nervousness, and lack of confidence but I motivated myself and try to actively participate in all sessions.

I would like to thank social media where I found this wonderful journey, highly grateful to my teacher Sir Akhtar Mehmood who recommended me as a hard worker and a responsible applicant for this Amal Career-Prep Fellowship, and highly thankful to the amazing facilitators’; Sir Hamza and Ma’am Huda; both facilitators guided us, motivated us in every step of this journey, hopefully, they guided me in every step of my life and for their positive attitude, valuable and constructive feedbacks and their kindness brings favorable developments in us.

FACILITATORS OF BATCH 176

Lastly, I would like to thank my all helpful, positive-minded family of Amal fellows for creating a friendly, peaceful, and learning environment where I learned a lot from your constructive feedback. Especially my two friends Hareerah and Mariyam both are like a sister to me. I don’t have a sister but after meeting both of them I feel I have sisters. We are connected on long calls and our gup shup memorable and pleasant moment for me.

AMAL FAMILY

Now it’s time to recall what things I’ve learned through courses and amazing projects during these three months.

In this learning trip, I learned and improve my knowledge with a growth mindset like improved my confidence level, communicating effectively, writing skills through blogs, teamwork, positive thinking, showing and feeling of gratitude, adversity as an opportunity, every time leadership concept, Pomodoro technique, life map writing professional documents, interview experience, and other soft skills. These all things and activities have a great impact on my life.

One of the best and impactful instances was the mock interview when I called for an interview and I was so nervous and shivering but I interacted with the interviewer Fahd Khan. The way he conducted my interview, the way of asking questions feels me confident, productive, happy because emotion contagious and his constructive feedback and recommendations of books make me motivated, more passionate, more productive, and happy. A few days back I gave an internship interview at my university and I delivered amazingly, more happily, and successfully. I was more confident and more energetic in this interview.

I felt he is an energetic, passionate, humble, realistic, positive thinker, hard worker, keen learner, and has a growth mindset.

“Learn from yesterday, live for today, and hope for tomorrow.”

Past is a great lesson for learning. I always learn from my mistakes. We all have positive and negative memories but we also remember positive and good memories give us happiness while negative and bad memories give us learning. We always learn through bad experiences in our life. Before Amal Fellowship I was stressed, worried, confused, and lack of confidence but now I feel confident, passionate, energetic, positive thinker, humble, productive with a peaceful and growth mindset.

Amal Career-Prep Fellowship journey is hope for the best, a light of learning things with a new and unique style and giving a family environment. Thank you, Benji, Ali Siddiq, and Amal team for giving me this learning opportunity.
